You didn't convince me
that our lunch
over the Giant's Causeway
settled the Troubles.
The up and down columns,
some marching, some shooting
barbwired into history.
Ancient eruptions
shaped us all, those
daggers and cliffs
remindful of the sausage
and sharp cheese.
