It's True, You Know

Like a switch that's flipped,
or a turn you didn't see coming,
the darkness can happen
even in the sweet light.
Your acceptance
of it as true, doesn't
showcase your ability
to see, just books the truth
you call your own.
I know you
still don't believe,
but am glad you aren't
blaming, with a knife's
serration, anymore.
