Stringer
I Google Street View
my way around my childhood.
I cruise around those maps
like I bounded around
those blocks, years before.
Those times jetting
in playgrounds,
like big ants
in concrete alleys,
with uncertain dust on my shoes,
the allowed Band-Aids on my knees.
The winning count now
are hopscotched
digital chalk squares, left
to the tossed stone in time.
