It Slipped My Mind
Among the wind whipped
green octaves, settling
between the branches,
and the popped button
pant deliveries, the dirt dig
with intent to bury bricks,
the preservation of the concrete,
that widely agreed upon by nod and denial,
the doctor busting calls,
the false weight
of the now, it slipped
my mind.
